Q1: What sizes are available for this truss tower? A: The tower column (upright truss) is available in two sizes: 289mm and 389mm aluminum truss. The crossbeam is 389mm. You can choose the column size according to your height and loading requirements.
Q2: What does the full support kit include? A: The complete system includes: aluminum column truss (289mm or 389mm), 389mm crossbeam, steel base, sleeve block, top section, manual hoist, fibre sling, and long outrigger — everything needed to erect and rig the tower.
Q3: What is the sleeve block used for? A: The sleeve block is the connecting and supporting component between truss sections. It joins the truss members firmly so the tower stays aligned and stable during assembly and use.
Q4: What is the top section for? A: The top section is installed at the top of the tower and carries the pulley head, providing the hanging point for hoisting lighting fixtures, speakers or other equipment to the working height.
Q5: How does the manual hoist work? A: The manual hoist is a hand-operated lifting device. By pulling the chain, you can smoothly raise or lower the suspended equipment after the tower is erected. It gives you precise height adjustment without external power.
Q6: Why is a steel base needed? A: The steel base spreads the tower's load onto the ground and provides a firm anchor for the structure, which is essential for safe operation when the tower is fully loaded and rigged.
Q7: When should I use the long outrigger? A: Use the long outrigger whenever the tower is erected outdoors, on uneven ground, or working at maximum height. It widens the support footprint and significantly improves stability and safety.
Q8: What is the fibre sling used for? A: The fibre sling is used for lifting and rigging the equipment onto the tower. Its fibre construction is soft and non-abrasive, protecting both the equipment finish and the truss surface during hoisting.
Q9: Can the tower height be adjusted? A: Yes. The tower is modular — you can add or remove column truss sections to reach the height you need. Please confirm the number of sections with us when ordering so we can supply the correct configuration.
Q10: What maintenance does the tower require? A: Check all bolts, connections and the hoist before each use; keep the truss clean and dry after events; periodically lubricate the manual hoist chain and moving parts; and inspect slings and outriggers for wear. Store components in a dry place.
Q11: How is the tower shipped? A: The tower is supplied in disassembled, modular form for compact transport. Please contact us for packing details and shipping costs for your destination.
Q12: Can you supply only part of the accessories (e.g. just columns or just bases)? A: Yes, we support OEM/ODM orders. The column (289mm or 389mm), crossbeam and all accessories can be ordered separately or as a complete set — just send us your requirements.
