Portable Design for Easy Transportation

Unlike traditional solid steel weights, the PVC ballast tank can be folded and transported efficiently before filling.

Benefits include:

• Lightweight when empty

• Reduced storage space

• Easy transportation between venues

• Reusable for multiple events

Flexible Temporary Ballast Solution

The ballast weight can be adjusted by controlling the amount of water added.

This makes it suitable for different temporary event setups where additional base weight is required.

Designed for Truss and Stage Applications

This ballast tank is suitable for supporting temporary event equipment such as:

• Stage roof structures

• Lighting towers

• Truss support systems

• Outdoor production setups

How to Choose a Water Ballast Tank

Before purchasing, consider:

1. Structure Type

Different event structures require different stabilization methods.

Examples:

• Lighting towers

• Small truss systems

• Stage roof structures

2. Installation Environment

Consider:

• Indoor or outdoor installation

• Ground conditions

• Whether ground anchoring is possible

• Available setup space

3. Required Ballast Weight

The required ballast depends on the complete structure configuration.

Important factors include:

• Structure height

• Base design

• Installation environment

• Wind exposure

For larger outdoor structures, please contact our team before selecting ballast equipment.

What is a water ballast tank used for?

A water ballast tank is a portable counterweight system used to add temporary weight to event structures such as truss systems, stage roofs, and lighting towers.

How much weight can this ballast tank provide?

When filled with water, this ballast tank can provide up to 1 ton of temporary ballast weight.

Can it replace steel weights?

It can be used as an alternative temporary ballast solution where portable weight is required.

The correct stabilization method depends on the specific structure and installation conditions.

Is the ballast tank reusable?

Yes. The foldable PVC design allows repeated transportation, filling, emptying, and storage.

Is it suitable for outdoor events?

Yes. It is designed for temporary outdoor event applications including stage systems, truss towers, and lighting structures.

Do I need ballast for every truss system?

Not every installation requires the same stabilization method.

The requirement depends on:

• Structure design

• Height

• Location

• Environmental conditions

For guidance, contact our team before purchasing.
